Sassafras | Cat of the Month Club™ Button (June 2026) by Miss Kitty Poppins x Kaira

Miss Kitty Poppins has a very special guest artist this month—Kaira! At just seven years old, Kaira is already an accomplished singer, dancer, musician and artist. The best news of all? We're neighbors and cat lovers too. I'll let her tell you all about the kitty she imagined and brought to life:

"He's a small, gray cat with a bright pink nose and like, bright pink inside the ears. I know his nose looks funny like a clown's nose. That's because I drew the nose very tiny, and then used thick pink markers. I named him 'Sassy-fras' cuz, well, basically, I just like the name (it's cute and sassy!). But also he is like Sassafras in 'Zoey and Sassafras' (I just read this book). He is always getting scared." —Kaira
